George Maluleka was advised || This is what they told him about his future at Sundowns

Despite not getting regular game time, George Maluleka has been urged to continue with Mamelodi Sundowns.

At Sundowns, the former Kaizer Chiefs star has been reduced to a bench warmer. Only two games have been played by the 33-year-old so far this season. By the time his contract with Sundowns expires, he will be 36 years old and considering retirement.

Former Sundowns defender Wayne Arendse, though, believes that Maluleka can still play a significant role for the club despite his age.Maluleka advised that the contract be completed at Sundowns.Arendse tells, "At the end of the day, it's up to the player himself, it's how he feels. If he believes he has a chance, especially given Sundowns' tight schedule; they have the Champions League, they need to finish the league, and the Nedbank Cup is coming up.

So I'm confident he'll get his chance, and if he feels he needs to fight for it, I'm 100% behind him.

He knows how much he's worth and where he stands.

I believe he should sit out since the schedule at Sundowns will ensure he sees more games.

The coach will have to use all of his players.

It's entirely up to him to show off what he's got, and he should do so.

At the end of the day, it's about the player's feelings and how he expresses them, according to Arendse.
