Moroka Swallows player Ruzaigh Gamildien managed to score a perfect double for Swallows as he scored his two goals just two minutes apart.
Before the match Moroka Swallows were in second place on 18 points and Mamelodi Sundowns in 21, and now Moroka Swallows are again on equal points as Sundowns both in 21 points.
Both Mamelodi Sundowns and Moroka Swallows remains unbeaten in the PSL after both clubs won their 2021 matches as to date.
The title race are on between the 2019/20 PSL winners and the 2019/20 National First Division winners as both clubs would want to add more silverware to their collections.
Moroka Swallows opened the scoring against Cape Town City FC when Ruzaigh Gamildien managed to score the first goal of the match in the 39th minute of the match.
He wasted no time as he scored his second goal just two minutes later in the 41st minute as Moroka Swallows took an easy 2-0 lead in the first half.
Cape Town City FC managed to make it 2-1 when they got it right to reply with a goal when Mududuzi mdantsane scored a penalty in the 54th minute.
Moroka Swallows made a sweet comeback as they extended their lead to 3-1 when Junaid Sait scored in the 76th minute, but Cape Town City FC managed to score a second goal in the 90+3 minute as Mduduzi Mdantsane scored his second goal.
Moroka Swallows managed to win the match 3-2 in the end as they remain unbeaten in the PSL hot in the heels of Mamelodi Sundowns.
