Brooks Reveals Sundowns Desire

Creeks, 20, has partaken in a brilliant ascent from beginner football towards the senior public group over the space of two years subsequent to being found by TS Galaxy.

The eager midfielder got the attention with a few enterprising showcases in the 2020/21 DStv Premiership crusade and in the victorious 2021 COSAFA Cup crusade in Gqeberha last month.

On his present direction in the South African first class, interest from abroad seems unavoidable yet should the large three come thumping, Brooks concedes he'd favor the defending champs.

I would pick Mamelodi Sundowns [if the huge three were interested]," he disclosed to KickOff Magazine.

"I'm a major enthusiast of Sundowns and I had the opportunity to play with [Lebogang] Maboe, Sphelele Mkhulise and Rushine [De Reuck], you know. I saw they're quiet and agreeable ready with high work-rate which suits my style of play."

Sundowns started their pre-season training about three weeks ago when they held their camp at the University of Pretoria high performance centre.

They then moved back to Chloorkop last week, where they played a series of friendly games against several teams, including Pretoria Callies.

The DStv Premiership champions started their pre-season training without the services of defender Ricardo Nascimento, who is recovering from an operation back home in Brazil, while the likes of Aubrey Ngoma and Tiyani Mabunda have been allowed to leave.
