Perr Schuurs and Mohammed Kudus scored thereafter before Sparta Rotterdam's Danzell Gravenberch scored a double last to end the score on 4-2.

Mohammed Kudus scored in the second half of the match when he found the back of the net in the 50th minute to make it 4-0. Rotterdam made a comeback as Danzell Gravenberch scored a double when he found the back of the net in the 53rd and 90+1 minutes of the match, as the score change to 4-2. Ajax won the match 4-2 in the end as they set themselves up with a 6 points lead in top.
