Arthur Zwane, the interim coach of the Kaizer Chiefs, has spoken out against requests for him to be appointed as the permanent head coach of Naturena.
After Stuart Baxter departed the club, Zwane, 48, and Dillon Sheppard took over as head coach of the first team.
However, Amakhosi has struggled to get off to a good start this season, losing two games to Stellenbosch FC and Golden Arrows.
Many fans, on the other hand, appear to be in favor of 10111, as he is affectionately known, and have asked for the club to make him the full-time head coach.
For the first time since Baxter's departure, Zwane has spoken about his goals, claiming that if the club's leadership put their faith in him, he'd seize the opportunity with both hands.
After the Golden Arrows match, he observed, "Everyone wants to progress, everyone wants to be better."
"You'll never get better if you don't make mistakes, if you don't put yourself in the middle of things."
