Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Ronwen Williams has made a huge claim about their 5-0 defeat against the World champions France.
South Africa were defeated by France on Tuesday night in a friendly game in Lille.
The Supersport United goalkeeper made a couple of saves that saved his side from more humiliation.
Williams also believes that there are some positives to take from the game despite tasting a heavy defeat.
Speaking after the game, the goalkeeper said it was a great experience for his side to play against the world champions.
"Obviously, the players will learn a lot from this. And this will only make us a better team going forward," he said.
Williams also insisted that they will focus more on the performance than the results.
The head coach of Bafana Hugo Broos also insisted before the Guinea game at the weekend that the results will not matter in these friendly games, what will matter is the performance.
Williams added that there are a lot of positives that they will take going to June Afcon qualifiers.
He added that there is also a lot of negative things that they have to work on to get better.
