I Believe KZN Teams Will Do Well This Season

Phelelani Mpangase, a former South African footballer, has offered his thoughts on the KZN teams in the DStv Premiership.

Golden Arrows, according to the former defender, are still the team to watch in the new season.

"Despite their sluggish start, I believe KZN teams will have a successful season. If you look at the Lamontville Golden Arrows, you'll notice that their style of play hasn't changed; they still have that fight and exciting football that can break down any defense "Mpangase informed the Siya team.

"Royal AM are still adjusting to their new environment, since players are still new to the city, and it showed in their performance against Swallows."

Despite the losses, the former Maritzburg United defender believes his former team will recover and that AmaZulu FC have nothing to fear about.

"In terms of style of play, AmaZulu FC is still fearless and dominant. They still have a bold approach, and you can't really assess them based on previous outcomes. They will undoubtedly succeed "Added he.

"Like Royal AM, Maritzburg United is under pressure, but with coach Ernst Middendorp in charge, they will rebound and compete for a better position."
