Chiefs started the match poorly with Matsatsantsa a Pitori dominating the match without creating any clear-cut chances, with Amakhosi's defence seeming cagey it was United was expected to take the lead.

Against a run of play Keagan Dolly sliced through the defence of United to slide Bernard Parker through one on one with Ronwen Williams, Parker managed to put the ball into the back of the net, but Williams feels he should have done better.
