Premier League

Opinion| If there is a team to stop Sundowns winning run it has to be this team

Mamelodi Sundowns are currently undefeated this season in the DSTV Premier League and in the MTN 8. Mamelodi Sundowns are yet to lose a game this season, but it is looking unlikely that they will lose anytime soon, as they are currently playing very well.

Mamelodi Sundowns have defeated both Soweto giants team, Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs respectively. Mamelodi Sundowns defeated both Soweto teams 2-0 when Sundowns was playing against them.

After defeating two of the biggest team in the Premiere Soccer League it now seems as if there is only one team which is likely to defeat Mamelodi Sundowns.

Mamelodi Sundowns are likely to be defeat by their Tswane rival Supersport United. Supersport United are currently in the second position in the DSTV Premier League with only two points separating them from Mamelodi Sundowns.

Supersport United are also are yet to be defeated in the DSTV Premier League as they have won three games and drawn two game out of five games played.

Supersport United are currently on form as it has shown from their past few games.

The game against Supersport United and Mamelodi Sundowns is schedule to be played on the 11th of December 2021. But the game of football seems to always have surprises as we saw when Kaizer Chiefs lost against Royal AM 4-1.

No one would have ever expected Kaizer Chiefs to lose against Royal AM with that score.

Mamelodi Sundowns next game in the DSTV Premier League will be against Swallows FC on the 3rd of October 2021 and will be looking to continue on their great form. Sundowns focus will be on this game for now, as Swallows is one of the best defensive team in the DSTV Premier League. Supersport United next game on the other hand will be against Chippa United on the 2nd of October 2021.
