last year November Sundowns was playing with Stellenbosch FC and they stopped for a couple of minutes before they played their match to honour one of teams legends, but this incident led to the team being on the wrong side of the PSL Rules.
Anele Ngcongca was the player that was honoured on that day because of his passing and the team clapped hands for a couple of minutes just to pay their respects to the player, which made PSL to be surprised that Sundowns honoured him because he was no longer part of the team. Ngcongca had already signed with AmaZulu FC before his accident.
There will be a hearing today at 5pm and the team might be found guilty and they might also be charged by PSL. Their future will be determined today by PSL, because they also went on the field with their shirts made and those shirts had Ngcongca's face on them.
