“We know the goal will come!” - Pitso Mosimane

Last night's Nedbank Cup quarter final match against Highlands Park didn't go as smoothly as Mamelodi Sundowns coach, Pitso Mosimane had hoped. The game went into extra time, the coach's worst nightmare.

Man of the match, defender Motjeka Madisha's knee was heavily strapped and Brazilian defender, Richardo Nascimento was struggling to keep up at the last minute, he was relieved to have Arendse and Lebuse on the bench incase anything happens and overwhelmed by the goal scored by Midfielder Keletso Makgalwa, “You just get emotional when a youngster comes in and scores. I don't run like that to other players but I mean Keletso is unbelievable! He's just got it!”

Mosimane acknowledged it was a tough game. Highlands Park is a very strong team, “Their communication skills as well as their targets are well on point. You really have to play out of your skin. That's why we have Vilakazi playing all these games "

Mosimane concludes by expressesing extreme confidence in his team, “We know we have to be patient. We know the goal will come. We always score.”

Mamelodi Sundowns will be playing against Orlando Pirates in the ABSA Premiership on Tuesday the 17th of October at 19:30.
