In the football industry the years gone by have brought forth plenty couples and heartaches.
Over the years many couples in the industry have dropped major bombshells like breakups and divorces.
In recent years it is difficult to picture former Kazier Chiefs and Bafana Bafana number one goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune without his beautiful wife Sphelele Makhunga who is a model by profession. However, a few years ago the 34 year old Ventersdorp goalkeeper dated fitness instructor Sbahle Mpisane.
During their romantic days the pair were considered as one of the most cutest young couples in South Africa. Back then the Kaizer Chiefs jersey number 16 even wanted to settle down and start a family. Sadly, in 2018 Sbahle Mpisane was involved in a tragic motor vehicle accident after a night out with friends which left her weeks in a coma and months in Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
During her recovery period the Durban based media personality revealed that she decided to let him go and date someone in peace. As if that was not enough Sbahle Mpisane would further go to share that she did not fully understand as to why she fell in love with the Kazier Chiefs goalkeeper in the first place.
On Sunday Sbahle Mpisane has since taken to her Instagram account to hint about being in a happy place. On the day she decided to take to the popular platform to share one of her recent pictures and in turn she would go to caption the shared picture with, "got a lot to smile about lately" followed by a sparkle emoji.
At this point in time it is not known if the 28 year old fitness guru was hinting about finding love again or maybe she is just grateful to be alive following the tragic motor vehicle accident which almost claimed her life.
