OFFICIAL| Sundowns To Sell Prolific Striker To Soweto Giant

Will Mamelodi Sundowns give a fringe player to the "Soweto giants"?

Before the end of the domestic transfer window, Sundowns will send their backup attacker to one of the three "Soweto giants."

SABC Sport says that Promise Mkhuma is on his way to Swallows FC after having trouble getting regular playing time at Sundowns over the past few seasons.

Mkhuma has been trying for over a year to get a loan to move away from Chloorkop, but nothing has come of it.

Cape Town City and SuperSport United both tried and failed to sign Mkhuma from Sundowns, but his one game last season seems to have hit home.

Since being moved up to the first team in 2019, the 22-year-old has played in 23 games but hasn't scored or helped in any of them.

Mkhuma's career could benefit greatly from a change of scenery, especially since he is still young.

The website for a public broadcaster says that Sundowns and Swallows have reached an agreement about Mkhuma, but it's not clear if it's a loan or a permanent deal.

SABC Sport says that it looks like Swallows and the striker have agreed in principle on a deal for him to start over, but it's not clear yet if this will be a loan or a permanent deal.
