CAF FINAL | Jele declares Pirates ready for war?

Despite the fact that Orlando Pirates captain Happy Jele has appeared in numerous finals throughout his time with the club, he remains straightforward about how to approach a match with a championship on the line.

When Pirates face RS Berkane in the CAF Confederation final in Uyo, Nigeria, Jele will be playing in his eleventh final for the club and his third on the continent (21:00).

The 35-year-old has appeared in every MTN8, Telkom, and Nedbank Cup final in South Africa, as well as the Champions League and Confederations Cup.

"We want to have fun while doing our best and winning the trophy," Jele remarked."The opponents are good, but we are as well, and all we have to do now is put what we've been practicing into practice and see what happens.

"The team with the most want to win it will win it, and we are the team with the most desire because we definitely want to win the trophy."

The Pirates enter the championship game with a strong defensive record.

The Buccaneers have preserved a clean sheet in nine of their 13 games in the competition.

In eight games, their opponents, RS Berkane, have conceded.

"We are prepared for another conflict. Because it's over one leg, it's a battle. You either die or you don't, but it's a war.
