Ranked, among the best trios to ever feature in the PSL, former Orlando Pirates Youth goalkeeper Jacob Khune, the younger brother of renowned former Kazier Chiefs number one goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune is celebrating his 24th birthday, today.
The product of the Orlando Pirates Development Academy who is also the youngster brother of former Kaizer Chiefs forward Lucky Khune was born on this day on 8 August 1998, according to his player profile on 𝙁𝙢𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙖.
On Monday, Itumeleng Khune who is unquestionable the most successful sibling in his family in terms of his career achievements has taken to his Instagram stories to send his well wishes and his congratulations to his younger brother Jacob as he celebrates his latest birthday.
On the day, the seasoned Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper took to his Instagram stories to a share a picture of his younger brother where it appeared as if he had attended a local football tournament in his hometown in Tshing outside of Ventersdorp. Taking to the popular platform, the Kaizer Chiefs jersey number 32 then decided to attach Samthing Soweto's hit song which is titled 𝘏𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘺 𝘣𝘪𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘥𝘢𝘺.
Meanwhile, when it comes to Jacob Khune's football career, the one time wonderkid in South African football who was touted as the next biggest thing topped all the charts in 2015 on social media when it was reported that he had joined Orlando Pirates. However, the talented youngster failed to meet the expectations as a few years down the line he completely disappeared off the radar without making his professional debut in the senior team in the colours of Orlando Pirates.
