Bucs’ Confed Cup Final Opponents Confirmed

Orlando Pirates will face Moroccan outfit RS Berkane when they compete for the CAF Confederation Cup title on Friday.

The Buccaneers were the primary finalists to be affirmed when they finished a 2-1 total triumph over Libya's Al Ahli Tripoli in their elimination round tie, and needed to stand by a couple of additional prior hours finding who they would look in the last set to happen at Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, Nigeria.

The subsequent elimination round was between the North Africans, who were victorious in the opposition in 2020, and double cross champs TP Mazembe from the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Berkane had been following 1-0 on total heading into their home leg, however heaped on the objectives in an emotional game which finished 4-1 in support of themselves - because of two late objectives - as they won 4-2 on total to book their pass to Nigeria.

It will be the Soweto Giants' very first experience with "The Orange Boys", with the two groups looking for their second major mainland title.

The final will happen on Friday, 20 May and the start up time is yet to be affirmed.
