It is drama after drama and things seem to be getting not any better for DStv Premiership Soccer League officials as once again they find themselves under a red deeming light.
This comes after a league match between AmaZulu football club and Kaizer Chiefs took place in KwaZulu-Natal and the referee of the day was Jelly Chavani. He is a very much familiar man to cause scenes at his matches in Charge as he did what was not expected by giving Kaizer Chiefs a false penalty.
It was not just a penalty of any kind but an equalizing penalty for Amakhosi, which gave them a point after Usuthu was leading.
The SAFA statement sends a very firm warning to other referees in the psl league, as they suspend both match officials for a period of six weeks from officiating either GladAfrica Championship or DStv matches.
