SuperSport TV has started to strengthen its broadcasting squad ahead of the 2022 Fifa World Cup by bringing back Thomas Mlambo from the SABC.
Mlambo was unveiled on Friday morning and is set to make his debut on SuperSport early next month.
SuperSport has made it clear that you have been followed not only by broadcasting but to bring dignity to all football-related issues in the company.
“Thomas is more than just a world-class broadcaster. He is an example of someone who respects his job, ”Marc Jury, chief executive of SuperSport, was quoted as saying.
“No one knows the depth of his knowledge, his tenderness, and his sense of humor. We can't wait to see him do what he is known for. ”
Mlambo, who has hosted major games and tournaments including the World Cup, has expressed his delight at returning "home".
“SuperSport is where I started as a sports TV presenter. This opportunity to come back makes me very happy, ”Mlambo was quoted as saying.
"I look forward to meeting spectators across Africa and being part of one of the world's largest sports radio stations."
