Kaizer Chiefs Transfer News Update.

Recent transfer news update surrounding Kaizer Chiefs Football Club.

Why the Chiefs Target Meets the Immediate Criteria...

According to the Siya team, Kaizer Chiefs are negotiating a move for defender Edmilson Dove, whose package would work for the team right now.

Seven new players have been added to Chiefs' roster during the current transfer window to help coach Arthur Zwane's team.

Few of them are yet to make an appearance for Amakhosi, with Kamohelo Mahlatsi being the lone newcomer. The club has announced that he is recovering from an injury.

The club's left side of the central defense needs to be strengthened, so Chiefs must find a central defensive option with sufficient quality.

Edmilson Dove is a good match for the needs.

The Mozambican defender is believed to be in line for a two-year contract with Chiefs after impressing coach Arthur Zwane and his technical team during a brief evaluation period, as stated by the Siya crew in issue 1273.

Siya sources claim that the 28-year-old meets the Chiefs' present financial needs, and a contract between the two parties is anticipated to be finalized in the next few days.

Chiefs, meanwhile, will turn their attention to defending DStv Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns, who they face at Loftus Versveld on Saturday on the back of a convincing 3-0 drubbing of Maritzburg United.
