Ex-Chiefs target | Before and after

Managing the huge financial resources from football has become a burden to South African footballers. These players during their career, earn big. However, at the twilight of their career they become extremely broke. Some are as a result of poor investments and some mainly due to social life.

We often hear a lot of inspiring rags to riches stories but nowadays it seems as if we hear a lot of rags to riches and back to the rags again. It is sad to see that most footballers tend to forget about the real value of money during their playing days.

At one particular point in time in South Africa, Black Leopards had the services of some of the deadliest trio in the top tier league. Who could ever forget Rudzani Ramudzuli, Mulondo Shikwivhilu and Christopher Netshidzivhe. The trio were largely known for keeping defenders up in their toes throughout the whole 90 minutes.

Following their impressive run Ramudzuli and Shikwivhilu would go to join Orlando Pirates. With Netshidzivhe dubbed as one of South Africa most promising talents he would go to attract the attention of Kaizer Chiefs however the move fell through. As one of the most seasoned footballers at Leopards it is without a doubt that he was also afforded a lucrative salary. In not so long ago he went to share a few shocking details about his life upon retirement. He would go to make it known that he lost all career earnings as a result of overspending.

The former Black Leopards player would also go to make it known that to put food on the table he has since went to work as a construction worker and also worked at a supermarket similar to fruit and veg. We have since went to social media with the aim of finding his recent pictures and with a bit of luck we were fortunate. From first glance we can easily see that he is currently going through financial difficulties and his life is not as posh as it used to be.
