When the 23 year old Nigerian international defender Olisa Ndah was bought in to Orlando Pirates alongside the Ghanaian striker Kwame Peprah there were many questions that were raised about their signing whether are they the type of players that Orlando Pirates need, or the duo will just add numbers in the Orlando Pirates starting line up. Right now it's safe to say that Olisa Ndah has started to make a name for himself in the South African football universe especially on his recent match gainst Maritzburg United.
Kwame Peprah is yet to make a name for himself in the DStv Premiership because he has not been given enough opportunities by the technical team, but that can change in the near future as he is likely going to feature for Pirates games just as Olisa Ndah has already been featured. The 23 year old Nigerian international defender is expected to be one of the instrumental players for the Soweto giants and his colleagues who play on a similar position might just have things difficult for themselves when they have to be featured on next games.
One defender from the Buccaneers who is already having it difficult is the club's vice captain and former Bafana Bafana captain Thulani Hlatshwayo. Hlatshwayo is one player that has failed to live up to his name ever since he came to the Soweto giants, this is not the same Hlatshwayo that the South African fans saw when he was still playing for Bidvest Wits, the Thulani Hlatshwayo of Orlando Pirates has many mistakes which also cause the team to be vulnerable on defence.
Olisa Ndah made sure that these opportunities he has been given he performs more than at his best and the good thing that has happened for him is that analysts noticed his contributions, the Orlando Pirates faithful fans have also noticed his greatness and most importantly the interim co-coach Mandla Ncikazi has also praised Ndah's contributions to the Buccaneers.
