Champions League Preview: Liverpool will be wary of Luis Suarez

High flying Liverpool will look to avenge last seasons Last 16 exit at the hands of Atletico Madrid. Liverpool have been unstoppable in the past few games dominating teams both in the league and in Europe and seemingly on course to another title. All eyes will be on Suarez when he faces his old team for the first time.

Liverpool have been in sensational form in the League and will turn their attention to their Champions League encounter against Spanish outfit Atletico Madrid on Tuesday. Having moved to the top of the group with victories over AC Milan and Porto, the six-time European Cup winners will look to get one over Spanish champions, Madrid. The last time these two teams meet, they entertained us to a 5 goal thriller with Atletico Madrid coming back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 on the night.

Liverpool will rely on their impressive front three pairing of Mohammed Salah, Sadio Mane, and Bobby Firmino to get the job done. Traveling to Spain won't be easy but the trio has been unplayable, especially Mohammed Salah. The Egyptian has managed to score 8 goals across all competitions and is in red hot form in front of goals. Emerging from the Wanda Metropolitano stadium with three points will be a tricky task especially with a famili face in Luis Suarez headlining the attack. The Uruguayan is a man on a mission and will look to secure all 3 points for Madrid. In the midst of a crucial stretch of fixtures, including two Champions League ties against Atletico and a visit to bitter rivals Manchester United, Liverpool's fearsome display came at an opportune moment. Liverpool have scored three goals or more in their six away games in all competitions this season.

All eyes will be on the Wanda Metro Politano on Tuesday as Atletico look to claim top spot in Group B.
