The ex-Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder continues to do good in his community despite the hardships he has caused them. Covid-19 continues to plough back into his village of Vosloorus, despite the troubles he has caused them.
It will take place on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at Crisp Lifestyle in Vosloorus and will feature live music and entertainment from the former Premier Soccer League player.
"We'll be starting and finishing our trek at a place called Crispy in Vosloorus," Mendu says to KickOff.com.
"There will be family lunches following the 5km and 8km walks." Besides food, we will have music performers playing, whose names we are not able to disclose at this time. There will be food vendors as well as a stall selling the clothes line of the Jabulani Mendu Foundation.
A walk, rather than running, is preferable since it accommodates people of all ages and abilities...and it allows you to have a conversation with someone while you're doing it.
Not only do we need to be mindful of the fact that it is June 16, but we also need to engage in a discourse with these children to explain the significance of this day.
"It's a learning experience. " We'll be holding a meet and greet session at the same time as we'll be educating the kids. The wristband that allows you entry to the picnic is included in the price of your ticket. Our tickets are available both online and in person, so you may pick and choose which manner you prefer."
