US Songo Won't Stand in a Way of Chiefs Target

- Hitting two Birds With one Stone

It appears like Chiefs' target has planned his future very well. He did not want the type of contract that will tie him down for a longer period in his home country.

It seems like he signed a very flexible contract they will give him more options.

Chiefs have a bit of a headache when it comes to the left back and center back. Mabiliso and Hlanthi won't be playing any time soon by the look of things.

Chiefs also have only one natural left-footed center back Thabane Dube.

Getting a left-footed Centre back is quite rare at times. When former chiefs player Teenage Radebe was still at Naturena. He was the only left-footed center back at that time.

He solved a lot of problems for Chiefs. Radebe was versatile. He was able to play both left back and center back just like Dove who can balance the team better.

Edmilson Dove can also solve a lot of problems for Chiefs. it is like heating two birds with one stone.

-Dove's Contract Clause Flexible

According to source Chiefs target Edmilson Dove's current club US Songo in Mozambique they will not stand in a way of Chiefs hence he was allowed to do medical at Chiefs without too man hurdles.

According to a source, Songo's team manager Claudio Tonetti believes they had a great deal with Dove when he left Cape Town City.

Dove is believed to have signed a one-year deal with Songo after leaving Cape town city the deal is quite flexible. It still allows him to join a club in South Africa.

-Done With Medical

Dove is done with his medical. All that is left is for the two parties to negotiate a deal for Dove to join the Chiefs.

Dove's contract clause should make things easier for the Chiefs to negotiate a deal with a player without too many stumbling block.

If talks go well Chiefs will have an opportunity to use a natural left back instead of Frosler. They can also use a left footed centre back if there is a need to give Thabani Dube a Competition.
