Pitso Mosimane's name continues to materialise in Egypt, the 57 year old South African international coach appears to have received different expectations from the Egyptian football supporters as well as from former Al Ahly players. There are those who believe that the former Mamelodi Sundowns mentor is the right man for the job, and then there are those who believe that Mosimane is not the right candidate to coach a big team like Al Ahly and they say all of these things as they are convinced that he is miserable at his job.
It can be agreed that since the 57 year old mentor joined the reds he made immediate history with the club as he won major trophies with the club. One of the biggest highlights of Pitso Mosimane when he first arrived in Egypt is that he won the biggest trophy in Africa as he won the CAF Champions League against Al Ahly's biggest rivals Zamalek SC.
Mosimane continued to make a name for himself in Egypt and in the world of football entirely as he also led the Egyptian gianyd to a third place finish at FIFA Club World cup, he also won CAF Super Cup and then recently he guided Al Ahly yet to another CAF Champions League title. Mosimane's success with Al Ahly was just scrubbed by when they failed to defend their Egyptian Premier League title as Zamalek managed to snatch it from them, and then again they lost a domestic cup which was essential to them as well.
The recent cup losses have shaken the Egyptian football universe as yet another former Al Ahly star Samir Kamouna believes that Pitso Mosimane should be replaced as the head coach of Ahly before it's too late. Samir Kamouna is not convinced not blinded by the current display of football that is displayed by his former side as he is unhappy by the way they play in the field of play. Kamouna believes that the 57 year old mentor is not fully focused on his job as the head coach of Al Ahly and the way the club has displayed their ball game says it all.
