Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs among other psl clubs have spent the most this transfer season making multiple foreign transfers as the battle for the Dstv premier league title has yet began. The news reaching Siya's crew is that the Kaizer Chiefs are joining the Mamelodi Sundowns in a one-day pre-season tournament set to take place in July.
The Prince Mangosuthu Inheritance Cup is expected to be held again after a long hiatus due to Covid-19. There are signs the tournament will return next month, with the Chiefs joining the Sundowns in the tournament, which will be played at Ulundi in northern KwaZulu-Natal.
Masandwana has been participating in tournaments with AmaZulu for some time and Siya sources have revealed that Amakhosi has accepted the invitation along with Richards Bay FC. The Sundowns are believed to have agreed to play in the tournament with the Chiefs to confirm the club's presence.
If Mamelodi Sundowns and the Kaizer Chiefs should eventually meet, the Kaizer Chiefs can use this deadly lineup to weaken and destroy the Sundowns defense all things considered. Here is how Kaizer Chiefs could lineup againt Kaizer Chiefs and get a convincing win with their newly acquired players;
However, there is evidence that Sundowns are planning to register either Lunga or Shalulilla as locals to make more room for new imports as they aim to compete in domestic competitions and the CAF Champions League. Nasir will join Sundowns for pre-season training and Siya's team have been informed that the club's technical team will decide whether Nasir is loaned out to another DStv Premiership team.
Giants Tshwane will play several friendlies to decide if Nasir is ready to play regularly in the first team. According to Siya's sources, the Sundowns are very careful with their foreign seats in the team and may evaluate their options before making a final decision.
With most of Mamelodi Sundowns foreign players loaned out, their sqaud should pose little or no to the newly organized Kaizer Chiefs sqaud. What are your thoughts concerning this lineup do you think it will hold against Mamelodi Sundowns with Sipho Mbule in their ranks?
