Ex-Pirates Captain Believes the Club is Doing Better now that Jele Plays Regularly again!

Former Orlando Pirates captain says the club is doing better ever since Happy Jele returned to the club's starting lineup.

Following the arrival of Thulani Hlatshwayo, Jele was sidelined from the team's lineup.

But however he eventually returned on playing regularly again.

Former Pirate captain Siyabonga Sangweni believes that the return of Jele has brought stability to the defence of the Buccaneers.

"I'm happy they brought back Happy, he does a very big job there," said Sangweni.

He added that the coach's decision to bring him back proves that he brings value to the club.

He added that you cannot put people who are not playing in the center back on Jele's position, because the position needs people who are experienced in it.

He said Jele is experienced player who always do what is required of him.

Sangweni added that since the return of Jele there have been huge difference at the back.

The Buccaneers will travel to Harry Gwala Stadium to face Maritzburg United on a Nedbank Cup last 16 fixture this evening.
