Opinion - Four first team players could possibly leave Mamelodi Sundowns in the transfer window?

Having such a huge and unique squad that Mamelodi Sundowns currently have at the moment is a privilege for the supporters of the club and the three coaches who are currently at the club

Because considering the amount of games and competitions that they have to play throughout the duration of a season Mamelodi Sundowns have the pleasure of having two different teams to pick from in terms of squad rotation

That is made possible by the fact that Mamelodi Sundowns currently have three players in one position which gives them flexibility, rotation, versatility that other top teams don't have especially at Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates

Then again having so many players to deal with can have it's consequences for some of the players at Mamelodi Sundowns as many of them might become residents of the bench due to a serious lack of game time

As no matter how many quality players Mamelodi Sundowns have not all of them can make the starting IX and not all of them will be able to play as many games during the season as they would ideally want to play

Which is why come the january transfer window the Mamelodi Sundowns coaches will all breath a huge sigh of relief as it would give them the opportunity to cut down the current first team squad as it is filled with many and too many players

As a consequence of that over the last couple months there has also been a lot of speculation over who exactly might be sacrificed by Mamelodi Sundowns come the january transfer window as they will be looking to trim the squad

And the names who have been surrounded by speculation have been Lesedi Kapinga, George Maluleka, Bangaly Soumahoro as well as new signing Sfiso Ngobeni who only arrived before the start of this season as they have been linked with moves away from the club if speculation is correct

No matter as well how much money Mamelodi Sundowns have it will be a huge burden lifted off them if ever they get all four players off the wage bill at the club
