Two new faces at Chloorkop

Mamelodi Sundowns is amazing when it comes to improving their squad. Mamelodi Sundowns is at the top of the standings of the DStv Premiership League, yet the club is still improving despite all that. It was confirmed earlier this week that Kaizer Chiefs target Abubeker Nassir has joined the Brazilians for trials at the club. There are two new Nigerian new faces at the Brazilians. They are there for assessment to impress the first team coaches. The new faces at Chloorkop are Daniel Dioh and Jesse Francis, and they are both strikers. There is also a reported interest from Europe.

A source confirmed to Siya Crew that "There are two Nigerian players who are currently training with Sundowns. They have come here for assessment, and they are both strikers and are very good players. There is interest in these players from clubs in Europe, but we have managed to convince them to come here so that they can be assessed under the first team coaches, and a decision on them will be made soon." The source further added that "Daniel is 17 and Jesse is 18. We are talking here about big and strong boys. How we have managed to convince these boys to come here is surprising, because the team is competing with European clubs for the players’ services from what we have been told. We are talking about players with speed, and they score goals. Sundowns is a club that doesn’t want to relax, and the way things are done here is based on building for the future."
