Anderlecht and Mamelodi Sundowns in tug of war

Teboho Mokoena is a player in high demand in football right now. Locally it has always been Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs after him. It has been years for Mamelodi Sundowns being after the player but nothing materialized in those years. Supersport United made it clear that they want to sell the player to an overseas club. They have made it difficult for both Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns to bid for the player. Teboho Mokoena has always been consistent and that alone shows he is not for sale. Now Mamelodi Sundowns after reportedly bidding for the player, they have been joined by Belgian side Anderlecht.

It is reported that Mamelodi Sundowns made an offer of around R25 million, while Anderlecht made an offer of around R20 million. Supersport United CEO Stan Matthews has always been clear they want to sell the player abroad. Now it will be interesting what they do if local clubs make big offers compared to what overseas clubs offers. Which club do you think the player would prefer to join?
