Shalulile Reacts to Player of the Month Award - I will go down into the History of SA Football

In response to his Premier Soccer League (PSL) player of the month award, Mamelodi Sundowns striker Peter Shalulile has spoken out.

It was on Monday afternoon that the PSL's monthly awards were held, and Shalulile was named player of the month again.

With only one game left in the season, the Namibian international is also the team's highest goal scorer.

Shalulile fought off the likes of Craig Martin and Hugo Marques of Cape Town City and Victor Letsoalo of Royal AM to win the accolade.

It was God who made it possible for him to win DStv's player of the month award for April, he admitted.

Players and staff of Sundowns were also thanked.

As a result, it's both humbling and exhilarating to accept the prize, he said.

He expressed his gratitude for the honor and stated that he is looking forward to receiving more in the future.

In April, he scored back-to-back hat-tricks, and the player praised his performance.

"I will go down in South African football history," he said.
