4 Top Forwards Who Have Not Scored A League Goal This Season

1. Harry Kane

In the first few games of the 2021/22 Premier League season, the Tottenham striker appears to be a ghost of his former self. Kane has been Tottenham's top striker in recent years, which has piqued Manchester City's interest. This summer, the citizens made a last-ditch attempt to sign him, but Tottenham refused to let him leave. In the end, the player chose to stay with them, although he has yet to rediscover the form that gave him a reputation as one of Europe's top strikers.

Kane has yet to score in four Premier League outings for Tottenham Hotspur. He doesn't look like the striker who won the Premier League Golden Boot last season, to be honest.

2. Lionel Messi

During the summer transfer window, the Argentine superstar made a surprise move to Paris Saint-Germain, and things haven't gone exactly as planned. This season, Messi has made three appearances for Paris Saint-Germain in all competitions.

He has played two games in Ligue 1 and one in the UEFA Champions League, however he has yet to score a goal.

3. Antoine Griezmann

In the last few years, his career has taken a dramatic turn. He went from being the best player at Atlético Madrid to becoming a disposable after moving to Barcelona for a record sum. Now that he's back at Atlético Madrid, he's not exactly a fan favorite. This season, his performance has been subpar.

He made three La Liga appearances for Barcelona before joining Atlético Madrid, and he has made three appearances for his new team. Griezmann has only played one game in the UEFA Champions League and has yet to score.

4. Eden Hazard

Since joining Real Madrid, the Belgian attacker has never quite realized the potential he shown at Chelsea. Hazard's form has continued this season, and after playing five La Liga games for Los Blancos, he has failed to score a goal.
