The Coaches Have Done A Wonderful Job :Former Pirates Star

A former Orlando Pirates star has applauded the job being done by Pirates co-coaches Mandla Ncikazi and Fadlu Davids.

Pirates is expected to move another step closer, this week in their chase for African glory. Willem Jackson who one captain the club, was impressed by his former club win midweek against Stellenbosch FC.

Before the match in Cape Town Stellenbosch had been unbeaten in the DSTV Premieship for the current season. A brace from Deon Hotto and a goal from Collins Makgaka saw saw the Soweto giants cruise to victory.

Pirates have been inconsistent this season and have struggled infront of goal. The win has moved the team to 18 points after being 12 matches. Jackson says the only thing that was missing for Pirates, was hunger to score goals.

I think what was missing was hunger to score goals. But sometimes you also need luck also. The coaches are doing a sterling job working on finishing. Its was just a matter of time. Its good to score three goals, i mean they could have scored more. The good thing is that they were playing away from home, Jackson told Kickoff.com.
