"The way they play is not going to take them far" - Junior Khanye not happy with Kaizer chiefs' win

Former chiefs of Kaizer Junior Khanye said the Glamor Boys are lucky to be proud of the Wydad Casablanca.

The analyst for the iDiski Times addressed chiefs 1-0 in the total win over the Moroccan giants as they held Wydad in the second leg for a goalless draw.

Khanye said he felt the Chefs were lucky to not concede their style of play before applauding the visitors.

"I've got a unique way to see football. Who says what, I don't care. If you play Chiefs' manner of playing now, it will influence you in the long run. Your method of playing impacts your future," iDiskiTV advised him.

"Yes, because they had a horrible season, a star may pick up the club; but the way the play will not carry them far.

Today was luck, Wydad Casablanca ought to be proud of herself.

"If I were their coach, I would be happy because they lost respect and played their football brand. They just weren't fortunate."

Now the leaders are facing Pitso Mosimane and Al Ahly in the CAF Champions League final this year.

The game will take place on 17 July in Casablanca.
