According to various reports on social media, the former Kaizer chiefs midfielder might be loaned to Cape Town City Football Club before the start of the 2020/21 season.
Rumours circulating on the social media platform is that George Maluleka is not in Manqoba Mngqithi and Rulani Mokwena's plans as the coach who signed him Pitso Mosimane parted ways with the club.
The club recently announced the signing of the former Highlands Park star Mothobi Mvala, the former SuperSport United midfielder Aubrey Ngoma and the Margeman who was playing for Ajax Cape town as a midfielder. That means the club's midfield is already overloaded since the likes of Sbusiso Vilakazi, Mabunda and many other players are still in the team.
If George Maluleka's move to Cape Town City Football Club is a success, he might be able to get more game time but it would be a surprise to see a senior player like him being loaned out.
