Orlando Pirates played against SuperSport United in the DSTV Premier Soccer League encounter at the Orlando Stadium on Saturday night, the Buccaneers were already trailing within the 1st ten minutes of the game as SuperSport United took the lead through Teboho Mokoena. The buccaneers throw everything in attack in an attempt to salvage something from the game.
Vincent Pule came close to equalizing for the Sea-robbers after being set up by Zakhele Lepasa, but Pule pulled his effort over Ronwen Williams' goal and the game remained one nil to SuperSport United going into the half-time break.
Like in recent games Orlando Pirates came back from the block firing. The introduction of Nkanyiso Zungu proved to be vital for the Buccaneers as he was able to play a blind pass to Zakhele Lepasa who managed to find a space between the SuperSport United defenders. Lepasa found is way into the box and was fouled by Nhlapo. Lepasa dusted himself up and scored from the spot and labelled matters for his side. The Buccaneers lived to lift it late as substitute Tshegofatso Mabasa scored a late goal after a miscommunication between the SuperSport United defenders.
