The absence of out and out strikers at Orlando Pirates Football Club was one of the things that cost the club a good run to the end of the season.

The injuries to Gabadinho Mhango, Thembinkosi Lorch, and Tshegofatso Mabasa cost the club dearly as they couldn't cope to play with a recognized striker, and has forced the club's hand to sign a striker in the recently ended season and they brought in Ghanaian striker Kwame Peprah.
But the club is worried about one of their strikers 24-year-old Zakhele Lepasa, the player has been injured since midseason last season, and seems no way close to returning to action.
It is reported by a Facebook page DSTV Premiership that Lepasa may be forced to retire as his injury seem to not be getting any better, and it is not true as the player nor the club has put out official saying that the player is about to retire due to injury.

As far as we know Lepasa is busy nursing his injury and will return to action once he is healed.
