Huge blow for the Buccaneers, top star out for weeks.

The season has started and injuries are coming fast. The Buccaneers are not strangers to having their players out for a long period due to injuries. They already have players who have been struggling to find form since coming back from injuries. Orlando Pirates are in Brazzaville for their preliminary first leg round against CSMD Diables Noirs. Orlando Pirates after finishing third in the league, they qualified for CAF Confederation Cup. The Buccaneers will be looking to do well without their star player Vincent Pule who suffered an injury blow during international break.

Orlando Pirates has released a statement in their official website, saying "The Orlando Pirates medical department has provided an update on Vincent Pule’s situation, after the 29-year-old suffered an injury while on national duty last week." They further added that "The Bucs medical department has revealed on, that Pule has suffered a Grade III tear of the quad and could be ruled out of action to up to 12 weeks."
