Europa League

Rangers receive well wishes from celebrities ahead of the Europa League Final in Seville.

Rangers play Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League Final at the Estadio Ramon-Pizjuan in Seville tonight, and it's a momentous night for them. After the team's allotment was doubled in a late ticket boost to traveling supporters, approximately 20,000 Rangers fans are expected to attend the match itself.

Other fans, however, will be able to watch the game on a giant screen at the La Cartuja stadium on the outskirts of town, as well as in the city's pubs and clubs.

Many celebrities have taken to social media to wish the Gers luck ahead of the match. From his official Twitter account, Prime Minister Boris Johnson also sent a good luck video. He wrote: "I want to wish @RangersFC the very best of luck in tonight’s @EuropaLeague final. I know that you’ll do us all proud."

Lorraine Kelly also used social media to wish everyone well. "Good luck tonight @RangersFC - my wee granny, dad and uncle Billy saw you lift the European Cup Winners Cup in 1972 in Barcelona. You are back in Spain again fifty years later. Hopefully that’s an positive sign."
