Malebogo Modise has now scored his second goal for the club in only his 4th match played to date. Modise is at JDR Stars on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns as his loan spell with the GladAfrica Championship side ends in June 2022.
JDR Stars played their latest fixture against Ts Sporting FC at home, and with the home ground advantage, they made the best of it by winning 2-0 at full-time. The match was won all thanks to Malebogo Modise who scored in the early 9th minute of the match for a 1-0 lead, and Ishmael Wadi with his 75th minute goal.
JDR Stars held onto their lead and claimed all three points at home after the 2-0 win. Ishmael Wadi is now in 4 goals in just 6 matches played to date. The two players who scored for JDR Stars, are becoming regulars to score for JDR Stars in the GladAfrica Championship.
The two also scored in JDR Stars previous win against Pretoria Callies which ended in a 2-1 win. Against Pretoria Callies, Malebogo Modise also opened the scoring for JDR Stars with Ishmael Wadi also scoring the final goal in that match.
Malebogo Modise still has a long time before his loan spell with JDR Stars ends, and while he is still with the GladAfrica Championship club, he can still add more goals to his name. Ishmael Wadi is on 4 goals and is among the top scorers in the GladAfrica Championship for the 2021/22 season.
