Junior Khanye Calls for Khune to take charge in Nedbank Cup

With Kaizer Chiefs number one goalkeeper not making it for quite several games of Dstv premiership ever since Daniel and Bvuma has been outperform, a lot of people have been wondering how his career would end.

However, Itumeleng Khune has shown that he can still lead the boys while guarding the poles when he appeared to be the best goalkeeper in Worriers fc when he was featured in Dstv Compact Cup.

The 34 years old goalkeeper has only appeared once this season during the MTN8 cup when they lost against Mamelodi Sundown in August last year.

Wjth big clubs securing their spots in the next round of Nedbank cup, Junior Khanye and other Kaizer Chiefs fans feels that it would be a great idea to use the veteran's experience to win the next game.

"Itumeleng Khune is one of the best goalkeepers if not the best, and not only for Kaizer Chiefs but in South Africa and I don’t understand why he is not playing under Stuart Baxter this season. The boy has showed in the DStv Compact Cup that he is still the best and it’s true when they say that class is permanent. Khune is a properly developed goalkeeper and he still has a lot to offer to Chiefs and I would love to see him getting a chance this weekend in the Nedbank Cup match if Chiefs are serious about winning the trophy. I do give them a chance against TS Galaxy to go through, but if they don’t make changes in some of the areas, they might struggle going forward in the competition,” said Khanye.

Keegan Dolly and Khama Billiant has also made it in Junior Khanye Kaizer Chiefs suggested first eleven.

It would be a great idea to play experienced players on the upcoming challenge against Ts Galaxy in order to secure the next round stage.
