Orlando Pirates sit on third place after the Buccaneers also won the Soweto Derby against Swallows FC on Saturday afternoon.
Royal AM follow on fourth place after the KZN side defeated Kaizer on Saturday night for the third time in a row.
Chippa United moved to fifth place after the Gqeberha based side secured a point against Supersport United on Sunday evening.
The Chilli Boys failed to protect a one-goal lead and Supersport found their equalizer in the second half to force a draw in their opening game of the season.
Maritzburg United are on sixth place after securing a point against Sekhukhune United on Saturday night following a 1-1 draw.
Sekhukhune follow on seventh place after the club secured a single point in their opening game.
Supersport United are on eighth place after the club forced a point against Chippa on Sunday evening in the battle of the Uniteds.
Amazulu are on ninth place after a goalless draw against TS Galaxy on Sunday afternoon.
Marumo Gallants and Stellenbosch FC are on 10th and 11th positions respectively after the two sides played to a goalless draw on Saturday.
Kaizer Chiefs sit on 13th place after losing against Royal AM.
Cape Town City and Golden Arrows are sitting on relegation zones after losing by two goals at the weekend.
The league will return this coming Tuesday until Wednesday for midweek action and match day two.
