Zimbabwe international talks tough as he braces for new life in the DStv PSL

Football hungry fans are set for a cracker. That is if the words of Zimbabwe international Ronald Pfumbidzai are anything to go by.

Pfumbidzai has spoken tough ahead of the resumption of the DStv Premier Soccer League. He wants to turn his club into a formidable powerhouse in South African football.

Pfumbidzai has set his sights on helping new South African Premiership football club Chippa United fight for the Nedbank Cup.

Pfumbidzai is aware that winning cups will undoubtedly be the first step hence he is targeting the Nedbank Cup as his first port of glory.

He wants to use his experience in the local league to guide Chippa to the stars.

“There is nothing new in football but I want to do the best I can to help the team finish the league on a good position and help them to fight for the Nedbank Cup,” said Pfumbidzai.

He did not make the cut for the Zimbabwean team which got knocked out at the ongoing CAF Africa Cup of Nations. This was because he lacked game time at his previous club Royal AM.
