Mathoho, Cardoso and Parker play to inspire young players, said coach Stuart Baxture.
The senior players of Kaizer Chiefs have been criticized for the team failure to win games. Kaizer Chiefs supporters are not convinced of how the team has started the league. The controversy began when Stuart Baxture brought his old tactics to field five defenders simultaneous with intentions to utilize on transitions.
Coach Stuart Baxter does not believe his tactics are outdated, the problem is with the forward players who miss in front of goals. The defenders are marvelous in their department,, especially Cardoso and Mathoho are inspirational to the new signings. Njabulo Ngcobo, Dube and Mabiliso still need to work hard to win the place in the first eleven.
On Saturday 17:30pm, Amakhosi are expected to take on Chippa United at home. Kaizer Chiefs has only won one game this season and are sitting at the bottom half of the league table. A win against Chippa will bring hope to the Kaizer Chiefs supporters.
