Good News for Man United as they Bring in Former Pep's Assistant at Bayern to Assist Ragnick

Ole Gunner Solskjaer was ousted from his position as manager of Manchester United last week following a succession of dismal performances. Manchester United have now identified a credible successor for the Norwegian. Despite the short notice, the club has moved quickly to appoint Ralf Rangnick as its new interim manager, who will be in charge at Old Trafford for the next six months until an appropriate permanent replacement is sought.

If that wasn't enough, multiple sources are now stating that United have chosen to bring in Lars Konetka, a former assistant manager under Pep Guardiola at Bayern Munich, to help Rangnick in his new post at Old Trafford. Konetka previously worked under Guardiola at Bayern Munich.

Known as one of the top pressing pattern specialists in the world, Konetka worked with Guardiola in building Bayern Munich's dominant side beginning in 2013. He has previously worked with Rangnick at Hoffenheim, Shalke and RB Leipzig, among other clubs in Germany.

In other words, before the next permanent manager takes over, United will bring in two excellent tacticians to help mould this side. The players will no longer be able to complain about a lack of strategy on the part of the management.

Do you believe that United is on the right track, or do you believe that all will end in tears?
