Orlando Pirates striker Zakhele Lepasa has uncovered that he is in the last phase of his recovery for a physical issue he endured just about a year prior.

Lepasa hasn't kicked a ball in a cutthroat match since experiencing a lower leg injury against Chippa United in December 2020.

Yet, he has uncovered that he is currently ready to run, and he's expecting to be back in full preparing either in November or December after a great deal of inquiries were posed with regards to his long nonattendance.

"I'm in the last period of my recovery and I'm ready to run presently," said Lepasa in a meeting with Radio 2000.

"Ideally, I will actually want to begin preparing with the group soon. Maybe in November or December," proceeded with Lepasa.

As would be natural for him, Lepasa affirmed that the half year recuperation period he was given by the Pirates clinical group after his subsequent medical procedure finished a week ago.

"I was informed that my subsequent medical procedure would have me out for a very long time and the half year time frame finished seven days prior," uncovered Lepasa.

Lepasa further reviewed how he experienced the lower leg injury preceding the match against Chippa United, and he lets it be known was extremely excruciating.

"In the game against Chippa United in December [2020], I hopped and when I returned I heard my lower leg break, and it was an aggravation I've never experienced," he reviewed.
