See what Sundowns' head coach had to say about Sekhukhune United before their match.

Sundowns wary of wounded Sekhukhune.

Prior to their DStv Premiership match at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday, Mamelodi Sundowns co-coach Manqoba Mngqithi has vowed that his team would not take Sekhukhune United lightly.

Following their victory over Kaizer Chiefs last weekend, Sundowns are feeling upbeat.

Now that they are defending their crown, the Brazilians will try to keep winning.

"I believe they are strong on set pieces, especially in their crossing game with [Tshepo] Mokhabi on the left, [Thamsanqa] Masiya on the right, [who is] extremely fast and [has] very excellent delivery], and [Roderick] Kabwe on the left, who is also very strong on set piece delivery," said the observer.

Everybody's life is made considerably more difficult by the center midfielders [Linda] Mntambo and [Glen] Motsepe.

The back four of [Edwin] Gyimah, [Daniel] Cardoso, and Nyiko Mobbie makes it a very potent team to deal with, and we are fully aware that we are playing against a very excellent attacking squad.

"They did not start well this season, but they have performed well, and they might have easily scored more than five goals in their previous encounter against Richards Bay.

"They had some very excellent opportunities in that game, so it's people we can't take for granted, people who work hard.

"They've got two of the top attackers in the country working for them in [Victor] Letsoalo and [Tshegofatso] Mabaso, and unfortunately [Tashreeq] Morris is out due to a suspension, but they've been playing a highly offensive game with lots of crosses into the box and troubleshooting.

"But regrettably, they haven't put as many goals on the board as they have made.

He continued, "They are a very threatening side, so it's a little bit of a banana skin that needs us to step very carefully.
