Kaizer Chiefs sends 'striker' packing until further notice

Kaizer Chiefs striker will be out of South Africa and away from the club as family responsibilities comes knocking.

Kaizer Chiefs has send one of their most promising strikers packing and on his way home to his country of origin after something terrible happened which was reason for the player to travel. Samir Nurkovic has been out of play at Kaizer Chiefs now for a good amount of weeks due to a knee injury which escalated to an extent which required serious medical attention and surgery.

The surgery then required the player who is occupying the role of the number 9 striker at Kaizer Chiefs to recuperate on the sidelines to rehabilitate until good form is restored to perfection. Samir Nurkovic was rehabilitating in South Africa, but unfortunately could not continue his rehabilitation in the country as Kaizer Chiefs send him packing on his way to his home country, Serbia. Kaizer Chiefs did not send him to Serbia because he needed medical attention in his home country, or because they don't need his services anymore, but he was send home after his father fell terribly ill, and he had to go take care of his father and be with his parent until good health is restored.

The player is set to return until further notice, as the club will make it known as to when he will return to South Africa from Serbia. Kaizer Chiefs head coach Stuart Baxter explained that Nurkovic was allowed to travel back home to care for his severely ill father.

"Samir has been allowed to go home to be with his seriously ill father, and he's doing his rehab and he's been in contact with the doctors", Baxter told the media. Samir Nurkovic will now have to tend to his father and his own injuries while away from the club, and hopefully when his father is back to good health, his injuries will be a thing of the past as well.
