Chiefs in rush for further new signings?

Leonardo Castro, Samir Nurkovic, Lazarous Kambole, Bernard Parker, Kearyn Baccus, Daniel Cardoso, Daniel Akpeyi, Ramahlwe Mphahlele, Dumisani Zuma, and Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya are just a few of the departing Chiefs players over the break, while Teddy Akumu has been placed on the transfer list.

Midfielder Yusuf Maart, who arrived from Sekhukhune United on a six-figure contract, is at the top of the list of newcomers.

Zitha Kwinika, Ashley du Preez, Kamohelo Mahlatsi, Lehlogonolo Matlou, and Dillan Solomons have all joined from Swallows FC, while Siyethemba Sithebe has transferred from AmaZulu.

Mduduzi Shabalala, a Chiefs youth graduate, has also been given a contract with the first team as a reward.

After leaving Naturena, Castro, Nurkovic, Kambole, and Parker—all of whom had previously played up front—left the team lacking in attacking options.

KickOff is able to disclose that the Soweto giants are pursuing three attacking alternatives aggressively, with one move potentially being completed by the end of this week.
