After series of transfer controversies over the week, the Golden Arrows has urged the Kaizer Chiefs to tell the truth about their negotiations for the announced psl Pule Mmodi target. The Kaizer Chiefs have been linked with Pule Mmodi for several months now and the Golden Arrows appear to have confirmed official dialogue between the two clubs. Meanwhile, the Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns were the first two psl clubs to be credited with Pule Mmodi, but the Kaizer Chiefs have since been mooted as the front man for his transfer.
In addition to Orlando pirates and Kaizer Chiefs, Pule Mmodi has found passionate admirers in Bafana Bafana Hugo Broos. The veteran Belgian coach was so impressed with the fast wing that he repeatedly tried to call him up to join and help the South African national team, despite public outcry over his visa travel situation. Pule Mmodi was initially invited to travel to Ethiopia with South African Bafana Bafana, but due to lack of a valid passport, he stayed behind and Hugo broos was not shy about showing his disappointment in public.
However, things soon got better when Mmodi managed to organize his travel documents in time to win a second chance from Bruce, who called him up for the last two 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Zimbabwe and Ghana. Despite not getting game time for Bafana Bafana, the impostor continues to impress the Arrows and it is believed that the Pirates and Chieftains are interested in his services.
There have been various speculations and reports in the last few weeks that Pule Mmodi is close to signing with the Kaizer Chiefs, the Pirates are also back in negotiations, Amakhosi has been quoted to pay R6 million for his services and that he is most likely to sign. Now that a Kaizer Chiefs fan has tweeted to offer his opinion on the matter, Golden Arrows has responded via its official account, urging the Glamor Boys to be honest about the negotiations. The psl club also turned to ridiculous claims for a R6 million price tag for Pule Mmodi, calling it falses.
The plot is very thick when it comes to this transfer saga and there doesn't seem to be an immediate resolution between the Kaizer Chiefs, Mmodi and Golden Arrows. What are your thoughts and opinion about this matter.
